I've always been attracted to symmetry and shapes. The space feels harmonized when lines are aligned and structures speak without words. In street photography, one of the most common concepts is how humans interact within the area presented in front of them. When spaces are vast and ever-changing, it allows various photo opportunities.
For this challenge, I want you to try black-and-white photography, focusing on shapes and lines. Look at the space and see how the light changes and emphasizes the shapes and lines presented.
Guide
Work with the space you have - find a background that has lines or strong shapes.
Watch the interaction: See how people interact or pass the space. Are people walking by? or are they talking in the areas? Take notes if it fits in the photo.
Go Fishing - Fishing as in wait for the photo opportunity. Take photos of the various people walking in and out of the area.
Repeat! - Utilize the area until you feel like you've got the photos you need, and walk to a different location. Rense, and repeat!
Here are some photos of mine that are shapes and lines.
