Collaboration means combining strengths, sharing ideas, and letting your styles influence each other. It might be messy, surprising, or wildly energizing—and that’s the beauty of it.

Your challenge: Partner with another creative and make something together.

• Choose a collaborator and agree on a format or concept

• Share the process, pass the work back and forth, or create side by side

Creative Examples to Inspire You

Here’s how you can explore this challenge based on your medium:

Visual Artists

• Work on one canvas together, layering your marks and techniques

• Create a diptych where each of you completes one half

• Respond to each other’s sketches or brushstrokes in real time

Writers

• Co-write a poem or story, alternating lines, stanzas, or scenes

• Create two characters and write from their opposing points of view

• Start with a shared prompt and build your piece like a conversation

Musicians

• Collaborate on a track, with one of you building the beat and the other layering in melody or lyrics

• Record a call-and-response style piece

• Trade audio files back and forth, building it in layers over time

Designers

• Co-create a poster, brand concept, or digital illustration
